There is no doubt that SCM has dramatically changed over the last few years within the context of the Internet of Things, digitization of data, wearable technology combined with the use of cloud software etc. Today’s supply chain is helped by the digital to prepare for the potential problems of the future, digitization transforming globally the way industry functions from supply chains to production to customer experience, and digital marketing capabilities being already one of the most important marketing capabilities. Consumers are driving changes in how distributors use technology to deliver products to the end-users, how distributors think and plan in the Supply Chain being already changed by the mobile technologies. A significant contribution in measuring Supply Chain performance is brought by the collaboration and frequent communication between Supply Chain partners, by the Global Positioning System (GPS), by the Supply Chain Visibility etc. and mainly by people who are communicating and collaborating.

When excellence becomes a habit: the opening of the first “Center of Excellence in Health and Tourism”
Razvan Nacea, Managing Director, Seytour International Corporation, was always open to change; he acted rightly in search of excellence, committed himself to excellence, and while thinking and acting constantly on the way of reaching his full potential excellence became his habit. And as he always inspired a collaborative culture, it was an honor and a pleasure of personally meeting him again on March 5, 2015, on the occasion of the opening of the first “Center of Excellence in Health and Tourism”, at the RIN Grand Hotel in Bucharest. I remember with great pleasure the remarkable Round table organized two years ago by the Romanian-American University (RAU), in collaboration with the Romanian Distribution Committee, when Razvan Nacea, a former RAU Student, addressed the topic of “Medical tourism, a new engine for Romanian tourism development.”
